Klean Kanteen TKPro Insulated Thermoflasche 750 ml, rostfreier Stahl

I had ordered the bottle and tested it. I was drawn to it because of the plastic-free concept, but I am sad to say that it is easily outperformed by any ordinary bottle. I made an 8 h test against a simple 500 ml from Thermos and an age-old plastic bottle one would have on a coffee table in the garden. Klean Kanteen fell far behind. A couple of hours after the test the water was even cold, really cold, which I found strange. Yet, I had no intention to find the best performing bottle on the planet. Normal use would have been fine. However! After 3.5 h you will already notice considerable heat drop. After 2 small in-between drinking sessions, you will not find it hot after 4.5 h ... rather warm. The bottle gives away considerable heat over the lid and I think this has been stated elsewhere as well. Taking the lid as cup for a drinking session, you might face anxiety about the additional heat loss. I should mention, that I also kept the bottle in a tight fleece bag. Finally, I decided to return the bottle. I am really sorry for knives&tools, but this bottle, maybe, shouldn't be in their assortment ... my opinion is, that the product needs to be discontinued until redesigned. There must be a huge community waiting for a well-performing non-plastic thermos bottle. Peace Out!
