the knife is a beautiful piece of work. the blade is sharp and flat, the wood is finished nicely, and it opens super smoothly one handed. the damascus feels factory made I'm not sure how else to describe it, but it looks nice. the only issue I could find is that the flipping piece is lower than the blade when it is fully open (can be seen in the photos) so it is not easy to use on a cutting board which is a bit of a bummer. i wish the blade was at the same level so it would be easy to use on a flat surface. i can recommend this knife it feels lovely in the hand
