What a knife! ( And I have over 150 fixed blades.) Clearly, Böker designed the Broncos to edge into the high quality bushcraft knife market - and then seemed to have landed on their butts: The DBK managed to ruin the edge of the Bronco by beating onto a steel rim, Aron of Gideons Tactical broke the tip by, well, breaking the tip. Now, I respect these guys, but they did absurd things with their knives, things I never even considered doing in 3,5 decades of outdoor activities. If used as knives, and respected as tools, both Broncos do exactly what they were intended for, and do it well. The balance is very good, the ergonomics are exceptional, the knives handle and perform extremely well, and the price point is almost absurdly low, given materials and fit and finish. Both make my list of “nearly perfect knives”, next to, for example, the Brisa Trapper and Trooper, the Morakniv Garberg, the LionSteel M4 and B40, and the Helle Nordlys. Highly recommended, if used responsibly (and all knives should be).
