The knife looks nice and is not from China, which is a plus for me. The handle is thin but grippy. Overall, this thing can take a beating. The SK5 steel easily takes on a keen edge and surprisingly also holds it when batoning. The coating however performes as painted on and pretty easily vanishes. Taking the knife fishing, cleaning in salt water (1%) resulted in a rusty edge after 45 minutes. But, for the price, I use it as a hard use knife for canoeing in Sweden etc. and just replace it when done.

I bought this knife as an addition to the full sized version. I like both of them, but I think I would rather carry this one outside, since it is lighter and still large enough for any outdoor task I might come across. The plastic sheath is not beautiful but functional. Nice outdoor knife for the price!
